State Bank of India invited application form from qualified applicants for probationary officers recruitment details as follows in the year 2011, you can expect almost the same pattens in the next year ;

Qualification for State Bank Of India probationary officers
Applicants have must graduation from an accredited University or any equal exam accredited as such by Government of India. Proficiency in computer is desirable for the candidates. All the candidates can appear for the exam after attaining 21 years of age.

Selection procedure
Selection process based on written examination and personal interview. written examination conduct on 24/07/2011.

How to apply
Qualified applicants are required to download from Bank’s website statebankofindia.com
(fee payment voucher) for payment of the application fee. The cash voucher is
in duplicate. Applicants are required to go to any Branch of State Bank of India and pay the amount of specified fees and postage and get the receipt.

As we have gone through the Official Website of State Bank of India (SBI), no information for the Recruitment of Probationary Officer for Session 2012 is uploaded. Result of the Last exam held on 24.07.2011 is available..

Estimated Seat Distribution as per previous year is 1000 seats (SC 150, ST 75, OBC 270, Gen 505). Seats reserved for Visually Handicapped (15) and Orthopaedically Handicapped (15)…

Eligibility for appearing Probationary Officer is:
Candidate must be Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or college.
Selection procedure is done in 2 ways:- Phase-1, Phase-2
Phase-1 Consists of written exam of English, data analysis, General awareness, Reasoning.
Phase-2 Consists of Group Discussion (GD)

Final selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates who qualify both Phase-I and Phase-II exam separately.
